The state of health of a woman, who is going to become the egg donor, plays a huge role as a rule. It would be better for you and for your future baby as well, if you were sure, that the genetic screening is done in order to help to eliminate any possibility of genetic illnesses, such as Cystic Fibrosis or Tay Sacks.
Age of an egg donor is also important, as it alters the chances of having a baby with any genetic abnormality, such as Downs Syndrome, etc. The ideal egg donor is considered to be a woman, of the age between 21 and 30 years old.
